Richard Dangay, Vice President of Finance and Administration

Richard Dangay has more than 25 years of experience in international development.  He has managed portfolios of projects and led technical and corporate teams, focusing on delivery and compliance.

At GPTech, Richard currently oversees the Finance and Administration Department, which includes Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Contracts and Pricing, and Information Technology. In this role, Richard focuses on scaling these groups to support the rapid growth of the business, identify areas of improvement, streamline processes, and reinforce support functions such as security and travel management. Richard brings a complement of strategic thinking, common sense, and years of experience in operational effectiveness and compliance.

Prior to joining GPTech, Richard was Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at DT Global, where he led the integration of DT Global and Cardno International Development (Cardno ID) after DT Global’s acquisition of Cardno ID. Prior to the acquisition, Richard held various roles at Cardno ID: Managing Director of Client Services for the Health, Public Finance Management, Infrastructure and Environment practices, and, most recently, Vice President of Operations, where he oversaw the operations departments for successful implementation and compliant delivery of projects funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development, Millenium Challenge Corporation, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, World Bank, and other donors.

Richard holds a Master of Business Administration from American University, Washington D.C., and studied business administration and information technology in France. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family.
