GPTech Awarded Energy Engineering Services Contract by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency
GPTech has been awarded a multi-year contract to provide energy engineering services to U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA). GPTech will provide energy engineering and related expertise to support USTDA’s global efforts to promote the export of U.S. goods and services for infrastructure projects in developing and middle-income projects in the energy sector. GPTech will provide general engineering expertise, development and design of program activities, technical inputs to the drafting and revising of technical documents including terms of reference and budgets, technical advice during monitoring and oversight of programming, and technical advice on new or emerging technologies and market trends in emerging markets.
GPTech will support USTDA’s energy work in the following areas:
Renewable and traditional power generation including solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, hydro, oil, gas, waste-to-energy, biofuels, and biogas
Power transmission and distribution
Energy efficiency
Environmental impact statements
Emissions mitigation or reduction
Climate change, adaptation, mitigation and resiliency
