GPTech Awarded Two-Year Task Order to Provide A&E Support in Solomon Islands

Victor Atiire for GPTech

GPTech is excited to announce that it has been awarded a task order under the Global A&E II IDIQ for Solomon Islands Strengthening Competitiveness, Agriculture, Livelihoods and Environment (SCALE) – Architecture and Engineering Support (SCALE-A&E) Activity. SCALE, a United States Agency for International Development (USAID) program, was initiated to enhance the impact, sustainability, and scalability of local agriculture, natural resource management, and alternative livelihoods activities.

These A&E services are part of the overall SCALE Activity for developing local economies at a community scale to support further growth at the provincial and national levels. In addition, the SCALE Activity aims to drive expansion of market access and supporting infrastructure. In addition, SCALE will facilitate the development of untapped agricultural potential and underutilized resources to increase productivity and drive market access investments. Under the A&E task order, GPTech will support the objective of strengthening and expanding the agribusiness sector in Solomon Islands, particularly on the island of Malaita.

Phillip Green, President and Founder of GPTech, stated, “We are proud to be a part of the overall SCALE initiative and look forward to working closely with other implementing partners to ensure the program is a success.”
