GPTech to Support Tetra Tech on DC DOEE Solar for All Program

GPTech was awarded a subcontract from prime contractor Tetra Tech to support the District of Columbia’s Department of Energy & Environment (DOEE) Solar for All program. The Solar for All program seeks to deliver benefits to 100,000 low-income households by deploying a wide range of solar electric systems in the District, targeting a 50% reduction in household utility bills by 2032. The Tetra Tech and GPTech team will conduct Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) assessments for solar systems installed by 15 grantees on numerous single family and multi-family homes, as well as in small community and commercial facilities, including validating benefits received by low-income households. The team will also assess and validate benefits from solar systems installed by DC government partner agencies, including a public library, a university and government offices.

GPTech’s President and CEO, Phillip Green, stated: “We are very excited to continue our partnership with Tetra Tech in providing field verification and technical support services to the growing market for solar energy in the Washington, DC region. The DC Solar for All program is an important and ambitious initiative that we are proud to support, as it ties together objectives for advancing clean energy with helping our local community— a great alignment with our company’s values.”
