Awarded Sixth USTDA Desk Study Contract for Sub-Saharan Africa
GPTech has been awarded a USTDA contract for a Desk Study (DS) Series for Sub-Saharan Africa Energy Sector Opportunities! The Desk Study Series will provide up to six Preliminary Evaluations of proposals for energy sector feasibility studies, technical assistance activities, or pilot projects in Africa and up to 18 Project Reports with fully developed funding recommendations for activities for USTDA funding consideration. GPTech will provide insights on a wide range of energy projects, including renewable energy generation, hybrid power generation, mini-grid projects, and transmission and distribution.
This is GPTech’s 18th contract award with USTDA and our 13th Desk Study contract. This contract supports our efforts to ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all under the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy).
President and Founder, Phillip Green, said, “I am proud of USTDA’s continued trust in our ability to deliver and support their mission. GPTech continues to expand our support in Sub-Saharan Africa so that we can help increase energy access on the continent.”
